My Approach
My focus is on assisting women in their healing and/or empowerment journey. I am a Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) trained psychologist, which means I often approach my work by identifying and exploring the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may keep you stuck and those that work well for you. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness, self-compassion, as well as other techniques into my work. My areas of speciality are depression, anxiety, improving one's relationship with food (eating disorders/disordered eating), improving one's relationship with body image, grief & loss, and adjusting to life transitions.

My aim is to assist you in recognizing your self-worth and guide you in living into that fully and completely. Another way of putting it is to help you to awaken to and honor the best within yourself, while also embracing and loving the parts of you that you may feel shame towards. I wholeheartedly believe that your receptiveness to explore those stuck areas, your belief in your own worth, and dedication to your own healing is critical in reaching greater well-being. In this, I have a collaborative approach when it comes to therapy. I am not the dictator of how you "should" live your life and I won't tell you what to do. I'll suggest, encourage, and welcome, but no bossing around. My intention is to help provide you with valuable tools and techniques so that you learn more about yourself, better understand your personal values, improve how you relate to others, and gain greater self-confidence, self-respect, and self-acceptance. I like to think of therapy as the process of coming home to yourself and I am happy to assist you in this journey!

My clientele consists of highly motivated women who are seeking guidance and clarity to live more consciously. We are holistic beings and I encourage the integration of physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Please remember...we are all perfectly imperfect works in progress.
